Dr. M.R. “Mick” Mickelson is a retired orthopedic surgeon from Idaho, having spent his professional career as a sports and joint reconstructive surgeon and team physician for Idaho State University.  As an avid fly fisherman and resident on the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River, Mick has been involved with many fisheries and conservation projects throughout his career.  Some of his activities include:
