The Cape Eleuthera Institute (CEI) is a multifaceted biological research institute founded in 2006 as part of the Cape Eleuthera Island School Corporation. Located in south Eleuthera, The Bahamas, CEI houses and facilitates a wide range of marine and terrestrial researchers from across the globe. The Center for Flats Research and Conservation at CEI serves as the focal point in the Bahamas for research and educational efforts to conserve flats fisheries and the ecosystems on which they depend.
