The Shoal Freshwater Initiative is an initiative aimed at engaging a wide range of organizations to grow and develop interest and funding for freshwater species conservation, particularly threatened fishes. Shoal will be working to engage a diverse community from across the profit and non-profit sectors that will identify and support freshwater fish conservation projects, exchange skills and knowledge, and build of capacity and awareness.
