The Island School is a High School study abroad program located in The Bahamas on the island of Eleuthera. With the campus and surrounding ocean as a teaching laboratory, the Island School program is a 100 day immersion into place-based learning, real-world research, problem solving, sustainable living practices, intentional community building, and a sense of what is possible. As part of their curriculum, all students take part in a research project, working side-by-side with onging science programs at the Cape Eleuthera Institute. The Island School’s website can be found at: http://www.islandschool.org/
FCF supports The Island School research program by hosting their poster series as a part of our Conservation Library.
