Sean Landsman

Dr. Sean Landsman is an Instructor in Carleton University’s Interdisciplinary Science and Practice program. In this role, Sean helps undergraduate students perfect their communication and critical thinking skills so they can be well poised to tackle today’s pressing science issues.

Dr. Landsman is also a trained fisheries ecologist with a background studying issues related to recreational angling, the movement ecology of anadromous species, and passage of non-salmonid species at dams and fishways. He is also a talented freelance writer and photographer who specializes in research documentary and underwater photography. His science communication work has been featured in international publications, including National Geographic and BBC Wildlife as well as numerous national, regional and local publications.
